The IEMs themselves are gorgeous and sound superior. I already had the Okavango model and wanted this one as well for my personal end-game. I know a lot of people who used to have these IEMs and then moved to a higher segment of $1k+, but over time, they all say the same thing: "I want to go back to my Megas." So, yeah, these are the end-game IEMs at a reasonable price. I also have to mention that the customer service is excellent. Thank you for all your help and for the great product! The world of iems has evolved since I bought my previous ones in 2012. So I started looking for a more musical product for listening to music. My research quickly focused on the Mega5EST and its Bass+ version. Finally I decided to order CustomDesign(UIEM) and the experience becomes unique with a wide choice of finishes, it even becomes difficult to choose... And even the choice between Mega5EST og and Bass + is complicated when you can't listen to them. Finally my musical orientations and the package made me opt for the Bass+ version.

Gareth contacted me for the choice of finishes. Everything was smooth and clear. He sent me photos giving a closer look to reality. The building time was quite fast despite the lab being closed 1 week for China Spring Festival Holidays. With the conviction of expecting a unique product, the delay did not bother me. Gareth then sent me pictures of the final product and to inform me of the shipment of the package.

I finally received my package about a month after placing the order. And when I unpacked it, I found the IEMs even more beautiful. The cable is premium, pleasant to handle. The leather box is well finished. It's true that the Bass+ version comes with a nice set of accessories!

And then started the first listening sessions. The IEMs are a little bigger than my Shure but once placed they remain comfortable. I was a little afraid that the bass level would be too high but I found the listening pleasant and balanced. Just a matter of taste... As I listened, I felt like I was rediscovering my songs.

So I had a sublime experience from start to finish, from choosing the product to the final listening sessions. These iems are as good to look as to listen to ! I hope that these imes will have the same lifespan as my Shure, which are unbreakable.

Mega5EST Bass+ (Universal IEM)

I was impressed with the timber of the original mega5est but felt its lack of bass . The bass+ version solves it without the bass bleeding into the mindrange. This is the version I was waiting for. All of the original sound with the extra bass.

All the details with just the perfect balance! Pair it with a pure silver cable if you want to open the sound a bit !!
